Welcome to the Leachman Cattle of Colorado herd sire and semen pages.    We feel that this is as progressive a set of bulls that you will find anywhere.  You will find proven bulls that have a great number of progeny and like wise we have great confidence, you will also find young cutting edge sires, but rest assured, all bulls offered have been used or are currently being used in our system.  You will find bulls that excel for calving ease, growth, maternal, carcass, and many combinations of the four.  One each of the bulls offered you will find the Leachman exclusive $Profit EPD in addition to a $Weaning EPD.  We feel confident you will find bulls of interest and thank you for taking the time to visit.

Angus Nearly all of our Angus bulls are suitable for use in heifer project, commercial or seedstock.  We have been breeding for the more functional kind of Angus that calve easy, grow well, and have excellent maternal and carcass value.  You will find many sons and grandsons of New Design 1407, Future Direction, Precision, Right Time 338, and Rito 6I6.
Red Angus

Our Red Angus offer the same great traits as do the Angus with a simple difference in hide color.  Go deep into the pedigrees and you will find the great maternal influence of Eleanor, Prilark, and  Dina, and on the front side you will find the name brand sires like Cherokee Canyon, Lancer, B571, Make Mimi, and Make My Day.
Charolais

Terminal crossbreeding maximizes profitability.  These Charolais bulls were selected with emphasis on calving ease, weaning growth, feedlot performance and carcass merit in mind.  The Charolais breed offers unparalleled growth.

The simple solution for crossbreeding success.  Stabilizers are scientifically designed to ensure that you retain hybrid vigor.  They have been selected for over 15 years to ensure uniformity and predictability.  We have focused our selection pressure to moderate mature size and better carcass merit.  Stabilizers hit the target in the bullseye.
